⚽️The U17s made it 2 wins from 2 with an emphatic 6-1 win at home to Parkville on Monday evening. Ciaran Darcy wrapped up an impressive performance with a hat-trick and suber-sub Conor Brett chipped in with a well-taken double with Shane O'Halloran also on the score sheet. Newport took a 1-0 lead into the break after a very even first half but went up the gears in the second half to eventually grind down a plucky Parkville side.Special mention for stand-in keeper, Christopher Egan, who had a very impressive game between the sticks. Next up for the lads is an away trip to play Regional B this coming Friday.
