Following months of training and matches, our five Newport Town AFC girls will represent the LDSL this week at the Gaynor Cup 2026 , starting Monday, June 1 in U.L.
Our own Sadbh will captain the Limerick squad in U.L and it will be Sadbh’s 3rd appearance at the tournament. Chloe is a vice captain and herself and Grace will be making their second appearance at the tournament. Tori and Faye will both make their first appearance.
It’s an unbelievable achievement for our club to have the five girls involved with the district squad.
We would also like to wish Jean, Kieran and Shay all the very best as they are part of the coaching set up.
We would like to wish all the squad and management team the very best of luck this week.
