🏆🏆All roads lead to Jackman Park next week, when Newport Town AFC will contest not one but two Junior Cup Finals within the space of 3 days.
First up on Tuesday, May 28, are our C team who will contest the Div 2B Cup Final against the recent Munster Junior Shield and Div 2B League Winners, Ballynanty Rovers B.
On Friday, May 31, our B team will be hoping to retain the Div 1B Calvert Cup, when they take on Aisling Annacotty D, who narrowly lost out on penalties in the Munster Junior Shield Final and who are also promoted to Div 1A next season.
Both very tough challenges for our young sides, who will both go into the finals as underdogs. However, anything can and has happened in Cup Finals in Jackman Park, and one thing is for sure, both Newport sides will give 100% and you never know what might happen on the night ....................... that's the magic of the cup.
Both games kick off at 6.30pm and our sides will be looking for as much Newport support as possible in Jackman Park to get behind them 🔴⚫
