Newport Community Centre in conjunction with Newport Town AFC and Newport GAA Juvenile clubs are delighted to present Newport Community Online Bingo for all the family from 5 to 105! The last 12 months have been tough on everyone, but this new online event is guaranteed to be a great night of family fun with lots of cash prizes and loads of craic, all in the comfort of your own living room! We hope to brighten up your Saturday nights, so be sure to spread the word to family & friends, far & wide. Tune in 8pm on Saturdays from anywhere in the world.

Details on how to enter and play from a safe social distance are below.

When is the Bingo game? Online, every Saturday night at 8.00pm. Tune in from 7.30pm for some local music and images.

How do I enter? Complete the online booking form OR Text or WhatsApp 085 1579133 OR email bingonewport@gmail.com with your email address and amount of books you wish to purchase by 5pm on the Friday before the game.

Your coded bingo books and the rules will then be emailed to you. You need to print your bingo book ticket to play and this will then be your book each week going forward- you just have to pay to sign up and then pay on a weekly basis using your bingo book numbers, as a reference.

What does it cost to play? It’s €8 per book. You can buy as many books as you like, so the whole family can play, so please don’t forget to list how many in the initial text or email.

How do I pay? It’s easy! Pay €8 per book via Revolut to 085-1579133 before 5pm, Friday. Put your name as the reference on the Revolut transfer for clarity. If you don’t have Revolut, you might have a friend or family member who could help (they pay for you and you give them the cash). Check out www.revolut.com to see how you can download the free app. Alternatively call Mary on 085 1579133.

All entries and payment must be made by 5pm on the Friday before each Saturday game, so we can get books emailed out in plenty of time. You can then use the same book number every week thereafter.

What can I win? There will be 3 separate Bingo games each Saturday night with three chances to win in each game. We will pay out on Single Line (€50), Double Line (€80), and a Full House (€200). There will also be spot prizes for those playing each night.

I’ve never played Bingo before, what are the rules? It’s simple to play but full instructions and rules on how to play will be emailed to you with your Bingo book(s) before Saturday night. The Bingo will be played via WhatsApp (which you MUST have) and also available to watch on our You Tube Channel (Newport Bingo) in real-time. The Bingo Caller will also run through the rules before the game starts on the Newport Bingo You Tube Channel, so be sure to be logged-in on time. Subscribe to the Newport Bingo You Tube Channel.

I don’t know how to use You Tube: Watching & playing on You Tube is great fun but you don't have to use YouTube to play.  You can still play and follow along on WhatsApp, as the numbers will be called live on YouTube and entered into the WhatsApp group as it happens.

What happens on Saturday night? Before 7pm on Saturday, you will be added to the WhatsApp group and sent a link to play Bingo via You Tube. Duration of the game is approx. 1 hour 15 mins. You can also subscribe in advance to the You Tube channel by searching for “Newport Bingo”. Be sure to send in your message requests in advance by email or on the night into the Whatsapp group, which becomes open to all approx. 1 hour before kick-off.

The online game will start at 8pm and will be played via WhatsApp and on the Newport Bingo You Tube Channel.

How do I collect my winnings? Winners will be paid directly online via Revolut by 6pm on the Monday following the game.
