The Committee of Newport Town AFC wish to advise that the club’s Annual General Meeting will place this coming, Friday May 30th in the Freigh Inn, O’Sullivan’s Bar, Newport, commencing at 8.30pm.

All junior players, team managers/coaches, parents/guardians of schoolboy/schoolgirl players and club supporters are welcome and encouraged to attend.

All proposals for discussion items and/or motions to be put to the AGM on the night should be submitted in writing to Ailbe Coffey, Hon. Club Secretary, Newport Town AFC, Main Street, Newport, Co. Tipperary, V94 YA2W and/or by e-mail to ailbecoffey@gmail.com no later than 6pm on Tuesday, May 27th

The following are being accepted in advance of the meeting;

Nominations for 2025/26 club officers and committee.

* Nominations for Junior teams’ management - A, B, C, Youths & U17s teams ONLY.

*Note, our Schoolchildren teams, are completed by the incoming committee.

Proposals for rule changes or changes to the club constitution. 

Any other items for discussion.

Persons interested in becoming new Committee members or willing to lend a hand in any capacity on or off the field, should contact Club Secretary, Ailbe Coffey 0872624711 or any current Committee member.

The Junior teams’ end-of-season awards will also take place on the night so we hope that everyone associated with the club can make it on the night.
